10. The dragons from Dungeons & Dragons. Yes this movie's so heinous that Moses should have shipped on smiting the Egyptians' first borns in favor of showing them the film's first ten minutes. But boy do the dragons kick ass! Not so much due to their CGI (the dragons from Dragon Tales were more 3-dimensional) but because of the amount of dragon-ness this flick provides. You've got an army of red dragons duking it out with an army of green dragons above a castle in a hellish-looking crimson sky, a dragon whose blood converts a river into fire, and a dragon devouring an overacting Jeremy Irons whole (then presumably crapping him out faster than the screenwriter did the movie's script). Nonetheless these dragons scuff the bottom of the list, because while the movie has scores of these mythical beasts with all the dragon trappings - flying, fire-breathing etc. - the realism (yeah we know, they're mythical creatures) is a little lacking even for the year 2000.
